Importance of a Basic Understanding of Life Insurance
Ronald J. Pawlikowski, CLU is a self-employed insurance broker specializing in life insurance. Prior to starting his own firm, he served as a technical life insurance analyst with a leading insurance consulting firm in Manhattan. Prior to that, he was a senior accountant with Peat, Marwick & Mitchell (now KPMG). He passed the CPA exam in 1981 and the CLU exam in 1992. He is a Past Vice-President and Treasurer of the New Jersey Society of CPAs and also Past President of the Morris-Sussex Chapter. He also chaired the Chapter Operations, Personal Financial Planning and Membership Committees. He served on the adjunct faculty at Upsala College where he taught Federal Taxation and Principles of Accounting. In his community, he served as Treasurer of the Randolph Little League, where he also managed for 11 years. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, as was his father and as is his son.
